Start taking payment using only your iPhone.

With Tap to Pay on iPhone you can accept contactless payments using only your iPhone. It only takes a few taps to get set up.


Accessing setup from the home screen:

If you do not see the below message on your home screen, jump to 'Accessing setup from Your Devices.'

If you see this message on the home screen of your Lopay app, tap 'Find out more.'

You will then be directed to the setup process. Jump to Setup

Accessing setup from Your devices:

Tap 'Your Devices' on the home screen.

Select 'Tap to Pay on iPhone.'

You will then be directed to the setup screens below.

Once connected, you should see a green tick icon.


Setup:

Tick the box to confirm that you have read and accepted the terms and conditions associated with Tap to Pay on iPhone.

Tap 'Enable now.'

Confirm that you would like to use the Apple ID displayed, or select 'Use a Different Apple ID.'

You will see a screen which explains how to take a contactless card payment. Once you've read it, tap 'Next.'

You will then see a screen which explains how to take a contactless payment physical card. Once you've read it, tap 'Next.'

You will then see a screen which explains how to take a contactless payment from a mobile device. Once you've read it, tap 'Next.'

Tap 'Done.'

You're all set and ready to accept a payment using Tap to Pay on iPhone.

In the context of your transactions, it’s important to be aware that using an RFID-blocking phone case might interfere with the NFC (Near Field Communication) functionality on your phone. NFC is essential for contactless transactions, including tap-to-pay payments. Therefore, it’s advisable to avoid cases that may disrupt these signals to ensure seamless and secure transactions.

RFID stands for Radio-Frequency Identification, and an RFID phone case typically contains material that blocks radio signals.
