How to take a payment using Tap to Pay on iPhone.

Once you have set up Tap to Pay on iPhone you'll be able to take contactless payments using only your iPhone.

In the context of your transactions, it’s important to be aware that using an RFID-blocking phone case might interfere with the NFC (Near Field Communication) functionality on your phone. NFC is essential for contactless transactions, including tap-to-pay payments. Therefore, it’s advisable to avoid cases that may disrupt these signals to ensure seamless and secure transactions.

RFID stands for Radio-Frequency Identification, and an RFID phone case typically contains material that blocks radio signals.


Take a payment using Tap to Pay

Select the 'Charge' screen at the bottom of the Lopay app.

Enter the amount required, and select 'Tap to Pay on iPhone.'

If Tap to Pay on iPhone is not displayed here, tap Other to select this as the payment type.

The amount will appear on your phone, ready for your customer to tap their phone or card.

Once the payment is complete, tap "Done".
