How to get set up once you have created your Lopay account.

Once registered you will need to complete identity verification and configure your account in order to start taking payments and receiving your money.

To do this, tap the 'Complete your setup' banner on the app homepage:

You'll then be guided through the following 3 sections:


Required to get paid

As you've already created your Lopay account, the first step will be ticked. You will now need to tap Complete identity verification.

This will take you to a secure form where you will be asked for details about yourself and your business as well as proof of your identity. For more guidance on completing this form please click here.

Once your information has been verified, tap Add bank account to enter your bank account details automatically via our secure form. This bank account will receive the payouts from your Lopay account.

Please note: Multiple bank accounts can be added via the 'More' screen in the app. You will need to confirm the addition of a bank account via your email.

After tapping Add bank account, you'll be presented with the above screen to connect your bank account. Select Connect account and then proceed to find your bank from the list provided and tap on Allow.

Getting started

In the getting started section we will show you through the different ways you can take a payment and guide you to take your first payment.

To begin, tap 'Choose your payment method'

Select your preferred payment method. This will guide you through the steps needed to set this up. Note that you can still select other payment methods when you take a payment.

You're now ready to start taking payments! Tap 'Take your first payment' and follow the steps in the app so you know you're ready to go.

Learning about you

The 'learning about you' section will help us to understand your business so that we can send you updates that are relevant to you. We'll also reward you with fee-free processing for completing this final section :)

You can now add a referral code if you have one - simply select the 'More' screen in the app and then 'Redeem a code'. For more details click here.
