If you have one of the following printers and a LAN/Ethernet cable connection to your WiFi then you can connect a Printer to your Business Terminal for paper receipts.

Compatible printers:

  1. Star TSP100IV

  2. Star TSP100III Series

  3. Star TSP650II Series

  4. Star TSP700II

  5. Star TSP800II

A LAN or Ethernet cable will also be required to connect the Printer to your internet network. You may already have one of these cables and they can also be purchased from the likes of Amazon e.g. here.

To set up your printer please follow the steps 1 and 2 below:

1. Connect the Printer to your Network via LAN/Ethernet

You will need to connect your Printer via a LAN cable to the same Internet Network that your Business Terminal is connected to via WiFi. Please follow the steps below to do this:

  1. Ensure a Working Network Connection: Verify that your router or modem is functioning correctly and providing an active network connection.

  2. Access the Printer's LAN Port: If necessary, remove the back panel from the printer to access the LAN port.

  3. Connect the Printer to the Network: Plug one end of the LAN cable into the LAN port on the printer. Plug the other end of the LAN cable into an available port on your router or modem.

2. Connect the Printer to your Lopay Business Terminal

  1. Turn on your Lopay Business terminal and log into your Lopay account.

  2. Check whether the printer icon (third icon in the top right of the Charge or Shop screen) is showing as green.

    1. If the icon is green, the printer is connected to the network.

    2. If the printer icon is not green, press the printer icon to display a list of available printers. Select the required printer to connect.

Troubleshooting tip: Please double check that the Business Terminal and the Printer are both connected to same network.
